Youre looking at the next Tintin, this boy is 17 and rumoured to be starring as our young detective. The movie would be spearheaded by 2 huge names, Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson. Apparently, #1 would be by Spielgberg, #2 by Peter Jackson and the #3 would either be some random or co directed by both of them. Intersesting huh?

Either way both ending did not do it for me :< This is too cuddly and all sweet while the one shown in the theatres was too sudden and abrupt with no real meaning. What a sad way to end a good movie!

I thought the movie would have been great if the “went back in time” thingy was left out. I concur the “stupid american kid” was added for more comic relief to help Jackie Chan. Since Jet Li is all stony and all.

Some of you may recognize Liu Yifei from the Hong Kong drama series, Legend of the Condor Heroes where she played the lead character Xiao Longniu (I think thats the hanipinyin for Dragon Lady). She’s kinda pretty and if she is lucky, this movie would propoel to popularity like what Crouching Tigger Hidden Dragon did to Zhang Ziyi.

Lengthy Speedy Update To Catch It ALL UP

Jesse Metcalfe sucker punched

The guy known as the “Hot Gardener” (Which I personally don’t agree with his tits like a woman) from hit tv series Desperate Housewives gets sucker punched by some British rap wannabe when he gets too close to comfort to his girl-friend. Check out the punch in the video here. The punch was in slow mo and man it was a good hit ROFL.

Star punched = Ego + 5
Star takes his gang and hits the shit out of you = (Ego – 100) + (Brusies +100)

So yeah after being barred from beating the shit out of him in the video, Jesse took his gang of friends and taught him a lesson in another club. It was described as “Jesse went in with his friends and came out smiling”.

1) Edison Chen admitted to the scandal and would be quitting the entertainment industry indefinitely to “heal” and do “public causes”. Which I say is BS and he is quitting to do it more but under the radar

3) Edison Chen’s hand was worth HK$500 000 when the triads offered that amount for it.

4) Jolin Tsai and Elva Hsiao acted quickly before their reputation gets smeared due to their involvement with him in the past and publicly announced “Never been involved with him” + daring people by rewarding millions if legally authenticated photographs of them are shown

Wolverine looks unrefreshingly similar to the previous X-Men movies.

3) Dracula hairstyle – Checked
4) Hairiness – Checked
5) Bared teeth – Checked
6) Fresh look – Nope

Pain for The Eye

The Eye

Starring: Jessica Alba

Run Time: 97 painful minutes

Crappiness: 10/10

Good Points: Jessica Alba’s looks. Not acting.

Bad Points: Everything else. From the plot to the acting and right down to the damn ghosts

Review:

Easily one of the worse movies I have ever watched and will in my life time, The Eye brings pain to movie watching to a whole new level. Fidget-ation in your seat would start to creep in in 10minutes, followed by severe pang of boredom for the rest. Let me break it down why it is so.

Firstly, the acting for Jessica Alba was not the least convincing and mediocre at best. Her portrayal of the character hardly showed any more then 4 different faces through out the movie and was nowhere close to carrying the movie even though she had insane amount of screen time. The plot was making sense only in an extremely general term, “Girl gets eyes that can see ghosts”. Hardly that happened played a part in developing the plot and anything that did only turned up at the last 20-30minutes of the movie. Scares were cheap, few and stupid. Not to miss not it was not the least creepy due to their scares being just “BOO” + <insert loud sound and sudden appearence of ghost>. You get a slight jump and you totally forget about it for the rest of your bloody life.

Do yourself a favor, give this movie a miss. The only reason I actually watched this pile of bull was because the other movies screening were crappy local ones (Ah Long Shit Pvt Lte) which I am extremely steadfast in NOT watching.

Genuine Rating:  3/10 – A fail by me means it is seriously bad.

PS: Don’t expect discussions of crappy movies cause with a plot like this its probably futile.
